Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Because Cosmetic Recovery MLD provides mobile care and coordinates travel between appointments, adequate notice is required when an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without a late-cancellation charge when a minimum of 48 hours' notice is provided.

When less than 48 hours' notice is provided, the full scheduled service fee is due. If the appointment was booked as part of a prepaid package, one session from the package will be considered used and forfeited.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without providing notice is considered a no-show. No-shows are subject to the full scheduled service fee or forfeiture of one prepaid package session.

Late Arrivals

Clients should be ready to begin at the scheduled appointment time. Because Cosmetic Recovery MLD travels between mobile appointments, a late start may require the session to end at its originally scheduled time.

When a client-caused delay prevents the session from being completed, the appointment remains subject to the full scheduled service fee. When feasible, the remaining appointment time may be provided without extending the scheduled end time.

Access to the Appointment Location

Clients are responsible for providing accurate location information and ensuring timely access to the home, hotel, recovery residence or other approved appointment location.

If the practitioner cannot access the appointment location or cannot begin the session because the client is unavailable, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show and the applicable fee may be charged.

Medical or Recovery Concerns

Post-surgical recovery can change unexpectedly. If you develop symptoms or circumstances that may affect whether manual lymphatic drainage is appropriate, please communicate this as soon as possible and contact your surgeon or appropriate healthcare provider when indicated.

Cosmetic Recovery MLD may postpone, modify or decline treatment when a session is considered inappropriate or contraindicated based on the information available at the time of the appointment.

Cancellation by Cosmetic Recovery MLD

Occasionally, circumstances may require Cosmetic Recovery MLD to cancel or reschedule an appointment. When this occurs, reasonable efforts will be made to provide notice as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment when available.

If Cosmetic Recovery MLD cancels an appointment for which payment has already been collected, the client will not forfeit the payment or a prepaid package session as a result of that cancellation.

Agreement to This Policy

By scheduling an appointment with Cosmetic Recovery MLD, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy. The cancellation terms presented during the booking and intake process also apply to your appointment.
